That means you can use Wikiedia if you find some significant new information there. Your 2 sources have to make a significant substantive contribution beyond what’s in the textbook. This means that it has to provide something which significantly enhances our understanding of the neurological basis of OCD. • Summarize your 2 references, telling about them, what they did, and what they found. In other words, you have to provide a complete description of the source, not just cite their conclusion. Even websites have to be described and the relevant information has to be summarized. • Provide copies of your 2 references so I can check them out. Title page. 2. Start with a general description of the symptoms of OCD. Then describe the case studies as examples of some of the symptoms. 3. Summarize the information in the textbook on the neurological systems involved in OCD. Include the section on OCD and anything else you found in other parts of the textbook that provides more information on those neurological structures and transmitters. Explain what these brain regions and transmitters do in general and how they may be involved in producing the symptoms of OCD. 4. Summarize the two supplemental sources you found. Tell the reader what they are about, as if you were describing them to someone in front of you. Include enough detailed information to show that you read and understand them. Then explain how they add to the information in the textbook to enhance our understanding of OCD. 5. Based on what you have learned from the textbook and your two supplemental references about the structural and pharmacological bases of OCD, try to explain what may be causing the people in the case studies to behave as they do. Also, suggest some treatments that might help the people in the case studies. Of course, you don’t know as much about the case study subjects as you might like to; just do the best you can with what you have, and note what further information you would like to have and why it would be important to have that information. 6.
