FINAL PROJECT Your Final Project requires you to conduct research on the various crimes discussed in this course and the techniques used to investigate those crimes. You will conduct research and analyze offense specific issues such as arson, rape, homicide, robbery or fraud. Your project must include at least 4 specific offenses. You must consult a minimum of four sources, excluding the course text, to support your material. Your referenced sources must be academically relevant in their content and may include the following: academic journals, textbooks, and technical and professional journals. Reference materials not considered academically appropriate are newspaper or magazine articles, editorials, or non-approved websites. For this assignment, you need to address the following: 1. What is the definition of the crime you are addressing? 2. Why is the issue important to the investigative process? 3. What specific issues occur in the investigation of that specific crime? 4. What can we do to address these issues? (Note: This is a follow-up question to #3 above.)
