your research paper should include a short history or bibliography on the economist (no more than one page). the remainder of the paper should focus on the economic thought of the individual. for example, if the economist is milton friedman, you may choose to write on his thoughts on monetary policy. you should limit your focus to one or two main topics that the economist is known for. you must use at least five sources in addition to your textbook. (the textbook goes into detail about the keynes''s liquidity preference theory). the sources should come mainly from journal articles or books (i.e., do not list five websites as your sources!!) websites can be useful to provide general information, but are typically not detailed enough for this type of research paper. (sources should all be from the united states and no older the 10 years old) you can locate journal holdings by visiting the online libraries that strayer suggests on the resource center or by visiting a local college library. (please let me know if you need to access this.) your paper should between 5 and 8 pages long. please double space, times new roman font size 11, and one inch margins all around. put your name, section, and title of the paper in the header. add page numbers at the bottom right corner. you must cite all of your work. citations must appear in the body of the text and should follow the apa guidelines. (you can find the apa citation style on the web at www.apastyle.org or http://www.liunet.edu/cwis/cwp/library/workshop/citapa.htm). (Prof. usually uses turnitin.com to check for plagiarism.) NOTE: I do not tolerate plagiarism of any kind. All research papers will be subject to plagiarism detection software. If your report is found to be plagiarized you will receive a grade of F on the paper and will not be allowed to make up the grade. Plagiarizing is an insult to your instructor, your fellow classmates, and the original writer of the material. It is in your best interest not to plagiarize. When in doubt, quote material that you cannot paraphrase.
