Schizophrenia is a controversial disorder because there are several different theories describing it and it causes and treatments. Someone you know and love has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. You are trying to explain this disorder to your parents. What would you say? What are the causes? What are the symptoms? What can be done? What are the risks of the treatments?
