You are required to demonstrate research through your paper. This means that you must include a minimum of 5 direct references in the text of your paper. Two of your direct references must come from a source other than our Constitutional Law text ( American Constitutional Law- Introductionary Essays and selected Cases, 15th Edition). The other 3 direct references must come from the Index of Cases in our Con Law text. Remember, your substantiation is no better than the quality of your sources. Our paper must have an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. Every paper must have a thesis. Your thesis must stake a claim, and be clearly identified, preferably in the introduction of your paper. Your thesis is the engine that drives your paper. With a weak engine, your paper will not travel far. Be sure to develop a robust engine. The paper is to be submitted in APA (American Psychological Association) format. However, any specific style instructions supercede the format (e.g. see above).
